MRO Buyer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is helping our client in hiring an MRO Buyer. This is an immediate need for our client and the role will be 100% onsite in Kirkland. This will be a full-time, contract opportunity for the team.

This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials and services to support business operations. This position will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure critical parts, equipment, and supplies are available when needed while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and inventory levels. Interested candidates must have great communication skills and be able to multitask and prioritize throughout their day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for MRO, indirect materials, and services
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance
• Support cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and other internal teams
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Communicate supplier performance, purchasing activities, and potential risks to stakeholders

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years purchasing experience
• Must be proficient working within ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both in-person and via phone
• Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Can multitask and adapt and pivot when needed throughout the day
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
